Craig Cummings
 
In April 2000, Craig Cummings became Pastor at Union Baptist Church. He is married to Jennifer and they have two adult daughters, Anna (a Clinical Counselor) and Rachel (a Kindergarten teacher) and one son-in-law, Bryce, a PhD candidate. Pastor Craig is the longest serving pastor in the 180 year history of Union. 
 
Craig serves on various boards and committees in Baptist life. He is a Director of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board, the University of Tennessee Knoxville Baptist Collegiate Ministry, and serves as the vice Moderator of the Executive Board and on the Leadership Team at the Knox County Association of Baptists. 
 
Previously he served as the PTA President and then the Gresham Middle School Foundation Founding President.
 
A native of Knoxville, Craig graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a minor in History. He received his Master’s Degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. 
 
He loves hiking and basketball as well as gardening. He is a volunteer at the East Tennessee History Center.
