Hello Choir! Sunday is Mother’s Day – make sure you thank all the wonderful ladies out there who have made a difference in your life! We will sing As For Me and My House (in the Listening Area). Please be in place at 9:00 a.m. for warm up.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Zak Yates! Zak and Morgan got married last weekend. Pray for this sweet couple as they enjoy the next couple of weeks on their honeymoon and begin their new marriage! They are so grateful for the gifts from the choir and wanted you to know how much they appreciated it!
On May 17th we will introduce a new congregational song:
May 17th is also our bi-annual church conference at 6:00 in the Commons. Come celebrate what God is doing in the various ministries of the church!
Please put May 20 at 6:30 on your calendar. That Wednesday night we will be having Choir Night at Timber Trails (Marty and Lisa Norton’s Barn). We will have dinner brought in and then we will have choir practice in the barn to rehearse our Patriotic songs. This will be our ONLY practice in May so I would like for everyone to attend.
VBS is scheduled for June 14-17 so make sure to put this on your calendar and plan on volunteering as we tell children in our community about Jesus! You must sign up in Union Square if you would like to volunteer!
June 28th is our Patriotic service! We will wear red, white and blue that day but I do ask that we refrain from wearing clothing with political statements. Let’s look great that day – the sanctuary will be decorated and we will recognize all of our active duty and veterans that day. That evening we will also have a church picnic with games and fellowship so mark this date as well as we look forward to an awesome Spring and Summer!
